Logas recognizes the significant cost and time savings achievable when products are built right the first time. This cost reduction, clearly, cannot be controlled by manufacturing engineers alone.

Our commitment to total quality includes identification of defect opportunities. These include defects introduced by board design, inconsistent data presentation, poor part packaging and poor documentations.

To stay committed to our goal of zero defects, Logas is taking the initiative to provide few guidelines to our customers to aid their design and procurement efforts.

Logas strongly recommends a review of the IPC guidelines for design for manufacturability when planning for Type I, II and III SMT assemblies.
